Mazzetti d’Altavilla – Distillers since 1846 represents the most historic Distillery of Grappa in the North-West of Italy and one of the oldest ones in Italy.
Established 174 years ago in the heart of Monferrato, Mazzetti d’Altavilla every year distills fresh pomaces of the most noble Piedmontese vines making it an expression of a territory and creating km 0 Grappa.
Prestigious are the young and aged Spirits and the Reserves and also the Brandies, Grape Distillates, Liquors, Fruits with Grappa and other typicalities, available in the best Italian stores, at the Grappa Stores of Altavilla Monferrato, Marcallo (Milan) and Milan and in many foreign countries.
Attentive to the quality of the raw material and the environment (the structure is “Verde Dentro” (Green Inside) thanks to the “green” philosophy of energetic supply), Mazzetti d’Altavilla is also scrupulous in the combination of packaging, handicrafts and art and the beautiful solutions are chosen personally by the Mazzetti Family.
On the top of Altavilla Monferrato Mazzetti d’Altavilla welcomes the Italian and foreign guests interested in the exciting Grappa tour. Here can be also visited the Art Gallery “170 Years of Grappa”, opened in 2016 during the important celebration of the special 170° birthday, and the Votive Chapel “La Rotonda”, a splendid architectural jewel located in the Historical Park and dating back to 1808.
The elegant Cellar of Mazzetti d’Altavilla, the emotional Grappa Gallery, the picturesque Barricaia and Distillery are spaces that fascinate visitors from around the world every day, from Monday to Sunday. They come till the top of the hill of Altavilla Monferrato to know the history and details of a fine distillate produced in a landscape of rare beauty, situated at the center of the Monferrato Unesco hills.
