The awards ceremony for the “Prize for 2009-2011 Degree Thesis”, promoted in collaboration with the University of Florence and the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, was held during the course of the end-of-year banquet organized by the Unione Imprese Storiche Italiane. This took place on Tuesday 20 December 2011 in Palazzo Medici Ricasoli in Florence The winner was Dr. Gaspare Antonio Pascucci, the author of a thesis entitled “The procedure for making pasta: the history of an industrial district in the Pistoia area”.
