In 2016 the historic Florentine wax factory Industria Ceraria Migone, member of the Italian Historic Companies Association, will turn 150 and celebrate the prestigious anniversary by presenting the new project “Migone since 1886”: a collection of perfumes and luxury candles characterized by its old logo, dating back to the beginning of the XX century and revisited to celebrate the company’s history.
The first five precious essences from the collection range from the woody notes of “rossofiamma” to the fresh perfume “verdefico”; from the intense fragrance of “fire amber” to the salty notes of “overseas” and the delicate powdery scent of “rosantico”.
In March 2016 new Christmas essence with a hot spicy note was presented, too.
For years, Industria Ceraria Migone has been producing candles and custom scents for a high-level international clientele.
The celebrations in 2016 will culminate in an event to be held in Florence in September: for that occasion, the company – in collaboration with the Istituto d’Arte di Porta Romana (Porta Romana Art Institute) – has also launched a competition titled “Migone 150 Years” for the best project presented by the students.
