Curiosity, change, courage. Knowledge, talent, vision, technology. But also resilience, memory, tradition, creativity and identity. Many solutions to envision and plan innovation, a hundred ways of doing business in the name of excellence: firmly rooted but always open to future challenges.
Some of the most prestigious Made in Italy brands – but also scholars, managers and experts – met at the Distilleria Poli 1898 in Schiavon (Vicenza) for the “Stories and enterprise innovation dialogue” conference, organized by the Italian Historic Companies Association (www.uisitalia.org) in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration of the University of Verona.
The conference begun with the opening remarks by Claudio Baccarani (Professor of Business Administration at the University of Verona, who presented the results of a research on innovation), and Marco Bettiol (Professor of Advanced Marketing at the University of Padua, who talked about communication strategies) and proceeded with speeches given by Italian entrepreneurs who accrued a significant experience in applying innovative strategies to secondary and tertiary sector activities.
The event organized by UISI met with success in terms of attendance and curiosity, as UISI’s Chairman Eugenio Alphandery pointed out: “We are proud today to be hosted by Poli Distillery 1898 in this beautiful building to discuss the fundamental topic of innovation, a word we should always draw motivation and stimuli from in order to grow, despite the fact that in Italy this positive entrepreneurial attitude often clashes with bureaucratic obstacles”.
President Alphandery awarded the Association’s medal to Teresa Parma Poli from “Poli Distilleries 1898” and welcomed a new member, Elizabeth Pandolfini, owner of “Biscottificio Antonio Mattei 1858”, Prato.
