Several representatives of the UIST – Unione Imprese Storiche Toscane took part, on Monday 3 October 2011, in an exclusive visit to the Teaching Ship ‘Amerigo Vespucci’ in Livorno. In fact, the famous sailing ship of the Italian Navy celebrates its eightieth birthday this year. The UIST representatives were received at the landing stage by Admiral Pierluigi Rosati and Captain Giacomo Paolo Reale. The President of UIST, Franco Torrini, presented Captain Reale with the “Chiave dell’Amicizia del 150° dell’Unità d’Italia” award.
